Sponsorship is a wonderful thing. It gives a child a great feeling that someone cares for them and children who have sponsors generally try very hard at school. They feel really motivated and loved. The joy of seeing them grow and develop has its own reward. Sponsoring babies is also very rewarding but as they are obviously not able to understand who you are or write letters to you the contact may only be by updates from the Orphanage staff.

We have never arranged any adoptions nor do we have any plans to do so at present. Mpika is such a lovely place and we think it would not be wise to take them way from there.
