Working for the relief of hunger and suffering in the heart of Africa

1. We are run entirely by volunteers in the U.K. enabling the maximum amount of funds to reach the target, Mpika Village of Hope Orphanage.
2. Funds are transferred directly to our Orphanage account not through any government or large organisation,
3. Our Overseas Director is Zambian born Jennifer Musakanya, she is a trained nurse, midwife, hospital administrator as well as being trained in prevention and treatment of HIV/AIDS. She received most of her training in England so she has excellent communication skills with both local people and English supporters.
4. Whenever we can we try to support other charities with our excesses, i.e. Good clothing to Zimbabwe where we are trying to help New Hope Kingdom Kids, also to Orphan Aid who work in Eastern Europe, books to hospitals etc, rough towels and bedding to RSPCA / PDSA.
5. We try really hard to be environmentally friendly and re-cycle as much as possible of our unsold goods/ cardboard etc.
